House Unfolds into Theater

I ran across this video on Architechnophilia, it shows what some inspired designers are doing to improve communities in which they are involved. An abandoned house has been salvaged to become an outdoor theater for the town of York, Alabama. The project was spearheaded by artist Matthew Mazzotta. The intro of the video shows how this unique icon house/sculpture opens into a 100 seat theater. So even if you don't watch the whole video you will understand the basic project.

The Coleman Center for the Arts in York funds the events in the Public theater/Park, so check their website, for movies or concerts if you are heading to York.
